Choosing a Wedding Destination can be a difficult process. I worked in the Cayman Islands for 5 years and enjoyed every minute of my experience. I spent some time working for Celebrations Ltd (Wedding Planners on Island) planning Luxury Weddings at the most prestigious hotels and wedding venues. I also planned special events for charities, worked with Miss Cayman Committee and Cayfest model agencies and Batabano carnival committee.
Made up of three islands—Grand Cayman and its two sister islands Cayman Brac and Little Cayman—some of the world’s most beautiful beaches are on the Cayman Islands. Destination Weddings in the Cayman Islands also allow you to experience colorful marine and wildlife, brightly colored birds and gentle stingrays. Dolphin Cove and Rum Point are great tourist attractions.
Getting to the Cayman Islands can be a direct flight from London Heathrow to Owen Roberts Airport in Grand Cayman. Or an indirect flight via Miami if you are travelling from the UK.

Once you fly over the Cayman waters, the excitement picks up and then you feel the warm air as soon as you step off the plane. You go through to Immigration giving the purpose of your visit, your monetary funds and address of where you will be staying.
Then onto collect your luggage in departures. Your car will take you direct to your accommodation at your request.
What is required by the Cayman Islands for a legal wedding?
The Bride and Groom need to arrive on island one business day prior to the ceremony. You will need to have an appointment with wedding officiant and bring the following paperwork: passport, immigration card (given at arrival on island), and divorce paperwork (if applicable.)
Lisa will make sure all paperwork has been signed and checked by the wedding officiant and contact the Celebrant for the day.
How I assist you whilst you are on Island
I would meet you to discuss any last minute requests you have for your special day. I could arrange a special Tour around the Island to see the lovely beaches and landmarks, that Cayman has to offer. Suggest some lovely restaurants and “Things to do On Island”.
We could take at the wedding venue to make sure all the final finishing touches have been covered and then a look over the florals, cakes, decorations and entertainment and Itinerary for the Ceremony and Entertainment programme for the evening. I will contact all the Vendors and Suppliers involved and send out the final Itinerary and order of service for ceremony.
I will speak to your photographer to make sure they know exactly what photographs you require on your wedding day.
A Pre-Wedding Lunch / Dinner could be arranged for your guests on Island, so that they can get to know one another and you can have a chance to catch-up with all your friends and family that are staying near you.
I could assist with the safe arrival of your dress and liaise with hair and make up to make sure they have all your requirements in order for your Bridal Party.
Ceremony & Reception Set Up
I will liaise with the Hotel Wedding Coordinator to assist with set-up of the wedding venue on the evening before your wedding and then visit the Ceremony to ensure all Floral decorations and any “order of service” booklets are placed on seating areas.
Any soundchecks and lighting and flooring set up will be organised for the evening before, or the morning of your special day. I will arrange meetings with Master of Ceremonies and any guests that are doing speeches.

Covid-19 Regulations for Travellers
Under current UK COVID-19 restrictions, you must stay at home. You must not leave home or travel, including internationally, unless you have a legally permitted reason to do so. Check the rules that apply to you in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
If you intend to travel to England, Scotland, or Wales from abroad, including UK nationals returning home from travel abroad, you must provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result taken up to 3 days before departure. If you do not comply (and you do not have a valid exemption) your airline or carrier may refuse you boarding and/or you may be fined on arrival.
Before you return to the UK you must provide your journey and contact details. You must self-isolate when you enter the UK from any foreign country except Ireland, unless you have a valid exemption.
If you are legally permitted to travel abroad, check our advice on your country of destination. Some other countries have closed borders, and may further restrict movement or bring in new rules including testing requirements with little warning.
